Cumberwell Park is my home golf club and where I currently play most of my golf.
I joined in 2026 after previously playing at Westbury Golf Club, and one of the things I’ve particularly enjoyed is the variety. Cumberwell isn’t simply one 18-hole course. There are five different nine-hole courses: Red, Yellow, Blue, Orange and White, as well as a separate nine-hole Par 3 Course.
The original Red and Yellow courses opened in 1994, followed by Blue in 1999 and Orange in 2007. The White Course is a more recent addition.
Rather than write one review of Cumberwell and consider the job finished, I’m using Weekend Golfers to build a record of actually playing here.
That means rounds, competitions, videos, different tees and, increasingly, looking at the individual courses and holes in more detail.
The Courses at Cumberwell Park
Each of Cumberwell’s courses has its own character and presents a different set of challenges.
Choose a course below to explore it hole by hole, including my experiences of playing it and videos from around the course.
Playing Cumberwell Park
Since joining Cumberwell I’ve played the courses in several different ways, from competitions and social golf to practice rounds where the score matters rather less than what I’m trying to learn.
I’ve had some good results, including my first individual competition win at the club and finishing second with Emma, Luke and Rich in the Golf Shop Pro’s Day.
I’ve also experimented with the different tees. On one practice round I moved all the way back to the 6,917-yard Green tees after my coach suggested making practice golf as difficult as possible.
The more I play here, the more I’m learning about the individual courses and holes, where to position the ball, which hazards really matter, how the different tees change the way a hole plays and when the sensible option might actually save a shot.
Some rounds go well. Others provide rather more material for Weekend Golfers.

I Won My First Competition at Cumberwell Park
Winning golf competitions doesn’t happen very often, at least not for me, so when it does happen I think it’s probably worth recording. On Sunday 6th September, I won my
