The challenge is knowing what to practise and making the time you do spend practising enjoyable and worthwhile.
Golf is never going to be easy, but that doesn’t mean we have to make it any harder than it already is.
This section is about the things we can work on away from the course, including practice ideas, drills, coaching tips and lessons learned from the driving range, putting green and short game area.
Some of that comes from my own practice and lessons I’ve had. You’ll also find advice and videos from PGA Professionals including Richard Lawless and Chris Tyson, along with things I’ve picked up and tried over the years.
Some sessions go well.
Some don’t.
That’s all part of the game.
The aim isn’t perfect golf, and it isn’t spending endless hours hitting golf balls. It’s building confidence, developing useful skills and making the time you do spend practising count.
Hopefully, some of it makes the next round just a little bit easier.
